Acceptance of Terms & Contractual Capacity
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Customer", or "Patron") and Ezee Cut Technologies Private Limited ("Ezee Cut", "Company", "We", "Us", or "Our").
By accessing our web portal, Progressive Web Application (PWA), counter queue trackers, or reserving appointments through our automated channels, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally competent to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872;
- You agree to provide true, accurate, and current mobile verification details;
- If booking on behalf of another individual or minor family member, you possess the full legal authority to bind such individual to these Terms.
Platform Nature & Intermediary Status (Section 79 IT Act)
Ezee Cut operates exclusively as a digital technology marketplace and booking intermediary as defined under Section 2(1)(w) and Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. We provide the scheduling software, live queue token synchronization, and payment gateway facilitation connecting patrons with independent third-party salon businesses and freelance stylists ("Salon Partners").
The actual grooming, styling, hair-cutting, chemical treatment, and aesthetic services are rendered directly and independently by the respective Salon Partner. Ezee Cut does not employ salon staff, control the physical salon premises, or manufacture grooming supplies used at partner chairs, unless expressly designated as a Company-operated flagship center.
Account Registration & Mobile Verification Security
Your registered mobile telephone number functions as your primary cryptographic identity anchor across our queue network:
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and One-Time Passwords (OTPs).
- Any booking or transaction initiated using your authenticated mobile number will be deemed to have been authorized by you.
- You must notify us immediately at support@ezeecut.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Appointment Scheduling & Concurrency Protection
Our platform employs strict database-level concurrency locking to prevent conflicting bookings for the same stylist chair:
- Lock Guarantee: When you select a date, time slot, and stylist, our scheduling engine places an exclusive hold on that time slot while payment is completed.
- Arrival Window & Punctuality: Patrons must arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment start time. If a customer is more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the salon partner reserves the right to release the reserved chair to waiting patrons.
Live Queue Token System & Station Seating Rules
Walk-in and on-demand tickets are governed by our sequential Live Queue Engine:
Tokens (e.g. #B001, #B002) are issued in strictly sequential order. Wait time estimates are indicative and vary based on complex styling customizations.
When your token is called to an active chair, you must report to the station within 10 minutes. If unattended, the ticket will be skipped to preserve queue flow.
Pricing, GST Invoicing & Indian Payment Modes
All menu prices listed on Ezee Cut are set independently by the respective Salon Partners:
- Taxes: Prices clearly state applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) as mandated by Indian taxation laws.
- Accepted Modes: Patrons may settle bills via Cash at salon counter, Instant UPI QR (BHIM/GPay/PhonePe/Paytm), POS Card Swipe Machines, or pre-pay online via Cashfree Hosted Checkout.
- Invoicing: Every completed transaction generates an itemized digital receipt or standard 80mm thermal receipt accessible in your dashboard or sent via WhatsApp.
Home Grooming Services & Stylist Protection Charter
Ezee Cut enforces an absolute Zero-Tolerance Policy regarding the safety and dignity of visiting specialists. For home visits, patrons MUST provide a safe, well-lit, private residential environment with access to a power outlet and clean water. If a visiting stylist encounters verbal abuse, physical harassment, intoxication, or an unsafe atmosphere, the stylist has the absolute legal right to leave immediately. In such cases, the full booking fee will be forfeited as a liquidated damages penalty, and the user's account will be permanently banned.
Health Disclaimers, Chemical Allergies & Patch Test Protocol
Certain grooming treatments (e.g. hair dye, chemical straightening, keratin, bleaching, hot wax, facials) contain active chemical ingredients:
- Mandatory Disclosure: You MUST notify the salon specialist of any allergies, skin sensitivities, scalp psoriasis, eczema, open cuts, or pregnancy BEFORE treatment commences.
- Patch Test: We strongly advise requesting a 24-hour allergy patch test prior to any chemical coloring treatment.
- Disclaimer: Neither Ezee Cut nor its Salon Partners are liable for unpredictable allergic reactions, chemical burns, or adverse reactions if you failed to request a patch test or failed to disclose pre-existing dermatological sensitivities.
Patron Conduct & Salon Right to Refuse Service
Salon Partners reserve the express right to refuse admission or decline service to any customer who:
- Appears visibly intoxicated or under the influence of illegal substances;
- Exhibits abusive, discriminatory, threatening, or sexually inappropriate behavior toward staff or other patrons;
- Presents visible signs of contagious or communicable scalp or skin infections that pose health risks to salon instruments or others;
- Repeatedly creates fraudulent tokens or abuses the booking concurrency engine.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ezee Cut, its affiliates, directors, officers, and employees against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or legal expenses resulting from:
- Your breach or violation of any provision of these Terms;
- Your unlawful conduct, property damage, or harassment at a salon partner establishment or during a home grooming visit;
